Tonya (Tonya [at] stagewest.org) has successfully managed the theatre's grant funding since 2012, steadily raising revenue goals (bringing in over 1/4 of the annual organizational budget) annually. She was promoted to Development Director after a long history of wearing various hats in the organization including Grant Writer, Volunteer Coordinator, and Education Director. Tonya has helped the growth of various programs such as In-School Playwriting Workshops, Neighborhood Play Contest, Festival of the Kid, and Summer Conservatory. Tonya holds a Leadership of Nonprofit Organizations degree from UNT, with additional certifications in Volunteer Management and Community Resource Mapping. Tonya has obtained first-time seed funding for several new programs including our M.A.D.E. festival, the Design Apprenticeship Program, and the Rob Bosquez Opportunity Scholarship.
