Mark Shum (mark [at] stagewest.org), our Managing Director, is a familiar face to Stage West audiences from his many appearances here, including Homes and Watson, Everybody, Don't Dress for Dinner, Wait Until Dark, The Explorers Club, Beyond Therapy, Orlando, The Taming of the Shrew, Thank You, Jeeves, Arms and the Man, and The 39 Steps. But he also has extensive business experience. He served as Subscriptions Manager and Bookkeeper at Dallas’s Theatre Three, and then spent four years as Business Manager for Plano Repertory Theatre. He was also Office Manager and client bookkeeper for Advantage Business Solutions, and, most recently, served as project manager for an interior design firm in Dallas.
