Neighborhood Play Contest
This program is for North Texas K-12 students: write a short play, scene, poem, monologue, or prose and submit it into the contest for the chance to be produced onstage during Festival of the Kid.
Design Apprenticeship Program 2023
Stage West’s Design Apprenticeship Program is a pre-professional training program for college students in the areas of Scenic, Sound, and Costume Design. Participants will work with a mentor in their respective design areas to create work for a professional portfolio, while also having a hands-on learning experience during onstage programming.
Romeo and Juliet at Bass Hall
Stage West continues its nearly decade long relationship with Bass Performance Hall’s prestigious Children’s Education Program. Since 2007, Stage West has annually taken an abridged classic to the Bass Hall stage where thousands of middle and high school students, free of charge, are bused in to engage in the theatrical experience.
The Stayton Community Players
Beginning in the fall of 2022, the theatre will formalize a partnership with the Stayton Retirement Community to start a performance-oriented class.
