An Update from Dana

It’s been a whirlwind of a week. I’m sure you are experiencing your own hurricane of rapid adjustments to “new normals.” Standing by the community to help flatten the curve and prevent unnecessary spread is important to us. You are important to us. Now to what we are working on for you:

We were thrilled by the response to the one week of The Children we were able to perform live. It was a common reaction to hear, “One of my favorites ever” and “You must find a way to bring this back.”

Over the next two weeks, we are working to professionally film our staged version of the play. This will be a bit like the National Theatre Live productions that our friends over at Amphibian Stage Productions host. You will be able to watch it through a special link in the comfort of your own home. The link must be only for season ticket holders or single ticket buyers as per our agreement with the union and licensing house. More people can buy tickets though! We’ll get that information out later.

Our goal is to have this streaming production available in two weeks. We hope you will use your tickets for it! In the meantime, if you have any questions, contact our box office at boxoffice [at] stagewest.org.

Thank you so much for your support and patience. This transitional period is challenging as we try to figure out how to keep our organization stable in the midst of all of this change. With your support, we will meet that goal. We will also be looking for ways to entertain you while you are self-isolating. More on that later!

In the meantime, feel free to pop over to stagewest.org/donate and make a contribution to our annual fund drive.

Thank you for keeping our heart beating strong.
