Blithe Spirit
In 1941, after his house had been damaged in the London bombing, Noel Coward went to Wales for a week, determined to write a play which would help people get through the war. The result was Blithe Spirit, a play which ran longer than the war...and became one of the world's best-loved comedies.
Novelist Charles Condomine would seem to have it all--a successful career, and a comfortable second marriage. But then a seance accidentally materializes the beautiful--and mischievous--ghost of his first wife, who can only be seen and heard by him, and his life goes hilariously off the rails.
