Presenting the 1st Festival of the Kid!

Thanks to a Neighborhood Arts Grant from the Arts Council of Fort Worth and Tarrant County, we were able to hold a playwriting competition for elementary through 8th grade students, and we will now present the winners in a free performance on Monday, December 14!

The six short plays are The Anniversary, Power, Tamales, Fort Worth Ain't So Bad, Quincenera, and UIL, and they were written by Sendy Argueta, Jason Rios, Rio Velasquez, Deric Richardson Riddle, Daisy Fraire, & Cynthia Serrano.  They are directed by Robert Bosquez, Jr., Akisha Rundquist & Justin Flowers.

There will be a reception at Stage West at 6pm, followed by the performances at 7pm.  Reservations are suggested.
