Dallas Morning News: Taking aim at troubled times: 'Stupid [Expletive] Bird' at Stage West a witty look at what art can and can't do

You've got to love art that questions the reason for its own existence in a world that's falling apart. The smart, sassy premiere of Aaron Posner's Stupid [Expletive] Bird at Stage West may riff on Anton Chekhov's 1896 The Seagull,  but the questions posed by Conrad and Trigorin, the warring writers in the play, feel shockingly apt, particularly with the show opening Saturday, the day of a Women's March, coordinated across the country in protest of policies of the recently inaugurated president.
