A new audience member weighs in...

We recently got a nice email from a new attendee, and thought her comments were worth sharing:

My dad and I were both FIRST time attendees tonight for the Thursday, May 6th performance of "Lonesome West".  We both thoroughly enjoyed

Sharing some new comments...

We had another nice note from an audience member who attended our first night of Good Things, and here's what it said:

Old Friends

We had an unexpected audience member recently for The Skin of Our Teeth, Joe Berryman, who starred with Jerry in Stage West's very first production, The Zoo Story.  Joe and his wife Jacque were in town from New Mexico to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, and he just had to come see a show.  We think he looks just the same as ever!
And we congratulate Joe and Jacque on their marvelous 50 years!

Sharing some more praise from a new audience member...

We had some people attending Stage West for the first time, to see The Skin of Our Teeth, and one attendee emailed one of our actors afterward to express how much she and they had enjoyed the experience.  We were delighted with her remarks, and thought we should share:

Some great remarks about Stage West from a fan...

I just found this wonderful entry in the Dallas Morning News Arts Blog, from a guest blogger who has clearly been a Stage West fan (and a Fort Worth fan!) for some time.  So great that I just had to share an excerpt, in case you missed it!

Angela Wilson/Guest Blogger    ...Still, I live in a perfect arts world because of the additional blessing of Fort Worth and its arts community. So I would like to say a few

A party worthy of 30 years!

Well, Friday night we had our 30th Anniversary Gala, and it was great!  If you weren't there, you missed an awesome party.  The decor was swell, the food was yummy, and the band was totally fab!  And lots of people picked up some great auction items for a small investment.

Great comments on The Seafarer

I hope most of you reading this were able to catch our exceptional production of Conor McPherson's The Seafarer, which just closed a successful run last Sunday.  We received a wonderful note from Betsy Cummings, Entertainment Director for the North Texas Irish Festival, and I thought I'd share part of it:

Joyous News for the Stage West Family!

We're delighted to announce that on Sunday morning, Sept. 7, just after 1:00 am, Director of Development Dana Schultes gave birth to a healthy 7 lb. baby girl!  Mother and daughter (and father Justin) are doing just great.  We thought you'd want to know, and know you'll welcome baby Matilda to our family!  I'm sure they will post pix to the Stage West Facebook page, so check back...

Welcome to our new website!

As the person who handles most of the updates to our site, I want to welcome you and say we at Stage West hope you enjoy prowling through our new site.  We knew it was time for a change, and we think our design team did a great job giving us something completely different in look, while keeping it uncluttered and easy to navigate.  We now have an FAQ page--and if there's any info you'd like to see addressed there, mail us!
 Thanks, and happy browsing!
