Insecurities
Ahhhhhhhh.... week 2. This is always the week when insecurities creep in and start to plague me. They are a result of not quite being off-book but acting like I am. This tends to result in a lot of "ACTING."
I hate this week.
I'll enjoy next week though. That's how it usually goes. Lines will be more secure... relationships between the characters will start to solidify. I will say this is one of the harder plays I've ever done. There is a fine line between honest and false when a play teeters between the real and dream-like worlds.... The worst thing on stage is a bunch of false movements accompanied by a bunch of "tricks." That's when you can pick a play apart. It's the difference between professional and amateur. It's why we get the big bucks...
..... That's a joke, in case anyone missed it.
