Brian Clinnin

Prior to his move to Texas, Brian worked at Chicago Scenic Studios as a job lead, creating scenery for projects such as: ABC-7 Chicago State Street  Studio Set; CBS Sports Set, New York, NY; Late Night With Conan O’Brien in Chicago; The Oprah Winfrey Show; The Chicago Field Museum; The Adler Planetarium; and Chicago Shakespeare. Raised in Chicago, he studied at the University of Illinois, The Art Institute of Chicago and The University of Kansas from which he holds a BFA in Illustration and an MFA in Scenography. Brian presently teaches theatre design at TCU. Most recently he has designed for The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey on their productions of Misalliance and The Tempest. He has garnered 3 DFW Critics Forum Awards for Outstanding Creative Contributions for his work on Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, and Julius Caesar. Brian is a member of United Scenic Artists- category Scene Design.
